The Reasons Item Upgrade Could Be Your Next Big Obsession

Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades

Upgrades can sometimes increase the performance of a piece of equipment and sometimes even its extras. The worth of these upgrades is determined by the gear's tiers, their requirements, and the number of random augmentations are made available.

For instance, the top shield of racial violence Razortail is commonly upgraded for its lightning absorb capability in PvP or to add additional defenses to missile-based builds in PvM. This makes it more tradable over the original version that is not upgraded.

Reroll Tokens

Reroll tokens let you roll a purchased item like an armor, weapon or ring. The item is replaced by another of the same kind, but with different benefits. Reroll tokens are a cost-effective way to upgrade gear. They don't maintain the original level of the item and any wasted resources will not be refunded.

Survivors can obtain reroll tokens in several ways, including the Mistery Box and rare drops from skulled creatures. They can also be located in crates and chests or bought at the local store for 150k each. Reroll tokens are used to change the attribute of an item of equipment, for example increasing its damage.

Players can reroll their equipment into three attributes: physical power, magic power, and health. Upgrades to physical power can increase the damage of melee and weapons attack, while upgrades to spell power boost mage attacks and the ring. Health upgrades provide the player with an extra health.

Three types of reroll tokens are available: upgrade rare and legendary. Each of these upgrades the item to a higher quality. To produce them, you'll need an upgrade level reroll token. Upgrades that are enhanced require a standard item, rare upgrades require a unique or a legendary item, and legendary upgrades require three legendary items.

The reroll marker, unlike other markers or tokens that are placed on action spaces, stays on the spot until the next Success is to be rerolled. This helps you not waste upgrades.

Blueprints appear as envelopes at the beginning of each Preparation Phase and are opened by grabbing them with Interact. When they are opened, they will display an explanation and icon for the Appliance or Ingredient. The restaurant's shop will trade blueprints for a brand new appliance or ingredient for a small amount.

During the course of a run, blueprints can be moved between the Staple Pool and the Non-staple pool based on selected Franchise Cards. This alters the blueprints the restaurant's shop has available for rerolls and also those that are in the non-droppable Pool.

Growthstones

In Throne and Liberty, growth stones can be used to improve weapons, armor and accessories. These are special stones that boost an item's level by increasing its stats and abilities. Players can find these items by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs located in the main towns. Contract Coin Merchants will sell these stones for a cost. Moreover, players can obtain these stones by completing daily contracts.

To upgrade equipment, players must first locate the appropriate item and then click the "level up" button. This will display a list of the item's levels and what it will be after being upgraded.  item upgrading  will also display the amount of Growth Stones required to upgrade the item. The number of Growth Stones required to upgrade an item will depend on its rarity. Most often, rare (blue) weapons require more than one green Growth Stone to reach their next level, whereas uncommon armor requires just one green or blue Growth Stone.

After deciding on what to upgrade, players must select the number of green Growth Stones they wish to use and pay the appropriate cost. Once the player has satisfied the requirements, they can select the upgrade option and apply the Growth Stones. This will raise the item's level by a certain percentage. The upgrade process can take anywhere from seconds to several minutes, based on the rarity of the item.

The upgrade process is also safe and doesn't impact the durability of the item. The system is a great way for players who wish to get an edge in battle, but don't want to strain their wallets. Furthermore, players can transfer the experience and advancement of an upgraded item onto a new item by clicking the "transfer" tab.

New players may find it difficult to acquire Growth Stones. However, there are many methods to obtain these stones, such as completing contracts and purchasing them from the Contract Coin Merchant, defeating Abyssal Contract enemies, obtaining them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book, or obtaining them from reward chests that are available during the Ancient Arena season. Players can also break down the higher-level Growth Stones into multiple lower-level stones.

Leveling

Leveling is an option that allows players to increase the base stats of weapons armor, helms and trinkets. It is accomplished by the combination of an item with upgrades at the Upgrade Station, paying a fee in Happy Stars or Happy Tickets. The upgrade materials will be used up and the item will gain an upgraded level. This process can continue until the item is at its highest level.

Items with upgraded base stats display the blue icon in their slot. Upgrade components, unlike enchantments, can't be applied to more than one item at once. Each upgrade component also requires a certain number of items and a minimum level of equipment.

The Upgrade Station is divided into two slots. On the left, players can add an item to be upgraded. On the right side, a preview shows what the gear looks like at its next level. When a player has enough materials by pressing the yellow arrow, it will initiate the upgrade process.

A piece of equipment may be upgraded up to five times. Each time the item is upgraded, its base stats will be increased by a small amount. The maximum level for an item is 19.

Once an item reaches its maximum level that it can no longer have the option to upgrade. When an item is upgraded to a certain track (e.g. Veteran or Explorer) upgrades to the track will be offered at a discount.

Upgrade components are a kind of equipment that can be inserted into weapons, armor, trinkets, and gathering tools to offer an additional bonus or effect when the equipment is being used.  you can try these out  can be purchased from vendors, looted or obtained through questing. They can also be traded between players. Upgrade components can be replaced by new ones, but doing so will destroy the previous upgrade, excluding for glyphs which can be removed and replaced freely.

Requirements

Upgrades to items give players the ability to increase certain attributes of weapons and armor that they currently have equipped. The requirements for upgrading an item will vary depending on its type however, you'll usually require Dilithium and a number Upgrade tokens.

The upgrade items can be slotted into equipment sets and weapons for extra effects or a higher level of the item. These upgrades can be gotten from a variety of sources within the game, such as crafting, purchased from the Trading Post or karma vendors, looted from bosses and raids, or dropped from dungeons. Once an upgrade element is placed in an item it cannot be removed and substituted without restriction, however the glyphs that are used in gathering tools can be swapped out without limitation.

Upgrades to an item can increase its Mark Level and/or Rarity. Certain upgrade components have additional modifiers that can boost the stats of the item.

For instance, the helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun" boosts the base defense, and provides an additional 20% chance of blocking. The dps "Wildfire", on the other hand increases damage from weapons.

Upgrades can be beneficial for certain items, but they are not because they increase stats. They are more valuable to players when they achieve an exact roll. A perfect-rolled 200/6 500 armor set piece, for instance is highly sought-after by melee PvP communities and could be worth as much as 20-50 times the value of an unupp'd counterpart.

If you choose an upgrade component to slot into an item the game will display an in-game window that lists the requirements required for that item. The game will show the required requirements when you select an upgrade component to slot into an item.

The game will add an item in your inventory once you've completed the prerequisites for an upgrade. The progress bar will then update to show how close to completing the upgrade. You can also verify the status of an upgrade by going to any upgrader NPC for the item you want to upgrade.
