Pokemon GO Upgrade Items and Components
An upgrade item is a unique item that will make certain Pokemon evolve. The Upgrade is obtained by spinning a PokeStop photo disc. It's sometimes given as a prize in Pokemon GO events.
Upgrades can be applied to armors, weapons, trinkets, and gathering tools to increase the level of their item. The upgrade costs Flightstones or crests, based on the type of item.
Upgrade components
Upgrade components can be added to weapons, armors, trinkets and gathering tools to add attributes bonuses or other effects when the equipment is being used. Upgrade components can only be used on equipment that has an upgrade slot. The majority of upgrade components require that the item to be upgraded is at a certain level. Some upgrade components have special visual effects that are visible when they are used. Upgrade components can be acquired through crafting, purchased from karma sellers or exchanged with other players on the Trading Post or taken from equipment, or obtained as rewards in game.
There are various upgrade components, each of which comes with a different bonus. Universal upgrades like gems and inscriptions can be used on any type of equipment. They provide fewer bonuses than other types of upgrade component. Infusions can be used on legendary and non-amulet items, and enrichments can be used on some back equipment that is ascended. Most upgrade components can be replaced if they are inserted into an item, but doing so can destroy the previous upgrade. The exceptions are glyphs (which can only be inserted into gathering tools) and Enchantments, which can be removed and reinserted freely.
Insignias and enchantments will display their names on the hover display of the item while prefix and suffix upgrades will add their names to the end of the equipment name (e.g., a Radiant Insignia on Tyrian Armor would change the name to Radiant Tyrian Armor). The tooltip of an item will show the number of upgrades that have been added to it.
Glyphs
Glyphs are special characters that can be added into an OpenType font to add decorative or functional elements, such as ligatures, ornaments, fractions and swashes registered trademark symbols and ellipses. The Glyphs panel allows you to see and insert these particular characters, as well as regular glyphs like em dashes and en dieshes registered trademark symbols, as well as glyphs that do not appear in other fonts (such as dingbats).
Each Glyph provides an initial boost in stats for the character. The glyph could also be equipped with up to four secondary stats that affect its radius on your Paragon Board. Secondary Stats are a percentage boost that is multiplied by other bonuses, except for Speed Glyphs that directly increase the speed of the hero.
The Glyphs in your inventory can be activated by selecting them and clicking the "enchant" button. This will bring up a window that displays the Glyphs available to you. Note that only the right kind of Glyph can be applied to the selected item, as every weapon, jewelry or armor piece has an array of different Glyphs.
Glyphs can be leveled up through the use of Nightmare Dungeons or completing Tree of Whisper quests. The more difficult the area is, the more Glyph experience you will gain. Once a Glyph is at level 15, it can be upgraded at the Glyph Upgrade Altar. The Paragon Board's radius increases by one node every 15 levels that a Glyph is upgraded.
After a Glyph reaches the desired level, you can activate it. Select it and click the "enchant button". The resulting glyph will offer its stated bonus and will increase the number of nodes that are within its radius on the Paragon Board. Glyphs should be put in areas that will benefit your build the most. This is why you should consider Magic Glyphs as soon as possible. Some glyphs, however, may offer dual bonuses if certain conditions are satisfied which is why they're worth checking out for too.
If you're having trouble finding a particular glyph, click the cycle widget on the Glyphs panel to show the panel in a number of views. Each of these views shows the Glyphs using a different font. You can narrow down the list of glyphs further using an option beneath "Entire Font": for example, punctuation displays only punctuation glyphs, while Math Symbols narrows the choice to mathematical symbols.
Rerolling
Rerolling involves establishing an account on a different account to increase your chances of acquiring the weapon or character you want. This can help you level up faster or to obtain better loot, such as the best weapon for your current character. Many players will reroll until they have the characters they like, regardless of their power. It could be because they like the design or the personality of the character.
When you reroll, you have be sure that the changes you are making are clear. This means you should verify locally that the patch passes the pre-commit tests, and you should also conduct a core development check. You should upload the patch with a plain difference to an issue (see What is an interdiff?) ).
Rerolls may be weeks or days long depending on how fortunate you are. To cut down on time be sure to avoid enemy camps that are not required during this time. Additionally you should not re-do any quests that can be completed later in the game. This can save you time and energy.
When rerolling, it's essential to be aware the upgrade system. There are several ways to improve your character's power and appearance. Upgrades, rerolling characters or upgrading weapons are all options. In addition, it's important to know the limitations of the upgrade system.
Rerolling may not be necessary however it can be a way to increase your chances of getting the right character or weapon. It could be beneficial in the case of trying to find the most effective character in the game or if you're wanting to test different styles of play and builds.
Sets
A set is a collection of objects with common-2 attributes (like the number of eggs in a dozen or members of a class). Sets can be used to perform operations such as intersection, union, and differences.

When you upgrade a set item, it becomes an upgraded version that is better than the previous one. For weapons and armor this means it will gain an increased base defense value as well as a lower strength requirement and a lower requirement for level.
Upgrades are a great way to bring popular single-set items to the same level as their higher-tier set counterparts. Upgrades like Guillaume's Face Helm to Elite Spired helmet can increase the defense by 217 to 321 and reduce the strength requirements and levels to an acceptable range.
It is important to keep in mind that not all items in an assortment are suitable for upgrading. Some sets, like the FB Sorc spec Whistan's shield and Naj's puzzlers are Exceptional in their own rights and don't require upgrading. On the other hand, certain items that are BiS and have a lot of use (like Goldwrap) may benefit from being upgraded to increase their performance even more. For such items, it may be worth the cost to upgrade them.
