Diablo 4 Item Upgrades
Item upgrades are upgrade components that can be inserted into armor, weapons or trinkets to give an added benefit. They tend to be more expensive and require that the item be at an appropriate rank.
Upgrades aren't always worthwhile for items with high requirements. This is especially true for items like the Titans of eth that don't have much variation.
Glyphs
After reaching the 50th level in Diablo 4, Blizzard's action RPG takes a turn from its simplified campaign into the endgame. The game's mechanics start to change, with players being pushed into the Paragon Board leveling system, Nightmare Dungeons and new grinds that ensure their character's building is as robust as it can be.
Glyphs are a major key to this process. Increasing a Glyph's upgrade level buffs its stat attributes and the radius of its effect on the Paragon Board. There are several ways to acquire these upgrades, however most players will be relying on the primary method of raiding Faction Crypts.
Glyphs lets you add symbols to your text. You can select from the menu on the left of the screen. It displays glyphs initially in the font that your cursor is located, but you can view another font or type style, and you can narrow the list of glyphs to a smaller subset by selecting an option from the options below Entire Font (for example Punctuation shows only punctuation symbols). When you move your cursor over any glyph, you'll be able to find its CID/GID and Unicode value in a tool tip.
Once you've inserted some glyphs and then the Glyphs panel will keep the track of the last 35 glyphs you've used, and make them available under the category of Recently Used on the first row of the panel (you need to expand the panel in order to see all 35). You can also remove them from this list by right-clicking, or Control-clicking, a one of the glyphs in the list, and selecting Remove From Recent Glyphs.
Another advantage of the Glyphs panel is that it permits you to create and edit an individual glyph set which is useful when you need to type certain types of text frequently. This will prevent you from having to manually insert every glyph when you need it.
A custom glyph set may contain a maximum of 31 glyphs comprising the base name as well as its suffix. The base name must contain uppercase English alphabetic letters (A-Z) as well as lowercase English alphabetic letters (a-z), European numbers (0-9) and underscore (_) and various other glyphs. The glyphs that make up the suffix may include ligatures or contextual alternatives that are special variations that combine two or more characters into one visually unifying glyph.
Reroll Tokens
Upgrades are the main mechanic that provides extra benefits on items, such as additional stats. Upgrades come in different kinds: reroll or level up, as well as recycle. Each type comes with a distinct set extra bonuses for an item.

Certain recipes require specific appliances or ingredients, and these can be purchased by selecting a Franchise Card from the Blueprint Desk. Some Appliances and Inputs are staples, meaning they will not be available in the Shop or on rerolls, while others will have a greater chance of being available when an appropriate franchise card is selected at the Blueprint Desk. This is known as the Staple Pool, and the items contained in it will remain in the pool for the duration of the run. The same goes for non-staple equipment. transferred to the Seed Pool when it is purchased from the Blueprint Desk.
Recycled Items
The third "R," recycle, is where the magic happens. When you recycle a product that is made from recycled materials you're not just helping the environment, but also giving that item a new life. This is because most items that are recycled go back to the original manufacturer to be remanufactured into a new product. This is referred to as "closing of the recycling loop."

Leveling
